Gbera, the danfo challenge. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Gbera is a free browser game run by Vasrefil (vasrefil.com). We collect as little as we need to run the game, the weekly board and sign-in. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for adverts.

What we collect and why

What Why
A random player id, made when you first play the weekly challenge To know which scores are yours. It is not linked to your name or phone.
Your nickname and, if you choose one, your state Shown on the public weekly board next to your score.
Your challenge runs: the controls you pressed, tick by tick, and the score Our server replays every run to check the score is real before it goes on the board.
If you sign in with email: your email address To send your sign-in code and to keep one account across your devices.
If you sign in with Google: your Google account id, email address and first name To sign you in and keep one account. We use the first name only to suggest a nickname. We do not get your password or your Google contacts.
Usage statistics: pages opened, shifts played, scores, device type and country To see what works and what to fix. We use Umami, which we host ourselves, with no cookies and no advertising ids. Some visits are recorded as screen replays of the menus and buttons, with the name form blanked out.
Settings saved on your device: sound, controls, radio station, best score, guide So the game remembers your choices. They stay on your device.

We never put your email address in usage statistics or on the board, and a nickname never shows an email.
